Infographic: The Land of Frankincense

Today, Muscat Media Group (publisher of Times of Oman and Al Shabiba) pays tribute to the Sultanate's 46th National Day with the publication of a 20-page infographic supplement Oman: The Land of Frankincense. In 2000, UNESCO declared four ancient Omani towns as World Heritage Site which "vividly illustrate the trade in frankincense that flourished in this region for many centuries, as one of the most important trading activities of the ancient and medieval world".
